Announcing the Winners of the "Me, Myself, and AI" Arts Content
Announcing the Winners of “Me, Myself, and AI” Arts Contest for America’s Youth AI Festival. Winning student artists will present their work at MIT this July.
Day of AI and MIT RAISE are proud to announce the national winners of Me, Myself, and AI, a student art competition that invited young people to explore artificial intelligence through creativity, reflection, and visual storytelling. The winning students will be recognized as part of America’s Youth AI Festival, taking place July 17-19, 2026 in Boston and Cambridge.
Open to students nationwide, Me, Myself, and AI asked participants to create two original pieces of artwork: one showing their community as it is today, and one imagining their community 50 years in the future. Selected student artists will showcase their work at the MIT Museum during the Festival, which will bring 250 student and school leader voices to key Boston institutions this July during our nation’s 250th.
The 2026 national winners are:
- “A Free Venezuela” by Evangelina, Grade 11, Essex County Newark Tech (Newark, NJ)
- “Which Way We Run” by Annie, Grade 11, Barbara Keel Art School (Auburn, AL)
- “A Self-Portrait Across Time” by Juliette, Grade 11, Rye Country Day School (Rye, NY)
- "Community Today as Meandering in Divide, Community in 50 Years as Yearning into Time” by Wendi, Grade 9, Atlanta Contemporary Chinese Academy (Decatur, GA

“Artificial intelligence will shape how young people live, learn, create, and connect,” said Dr. Cynthia Breazeal, Director of MIT RAISE and Co-Founder of Day of AI. “What is so powerful about Me, Myself, and AI is that it gives students the opportunity to reflect on that future in a deeply personal and imaginative way.”
“These students are doing more than creating impressive artwork,” said Jeff Riley, Executive Director of Day of AI. “They are thinking seriously about their communities, their futures, and the role AI may play in both. That kind of thoughtful engagement is exactly what the America’s Youth AI Festival is designed to celebrate.”
America’s Youth AI Festival will bring together students, educators, and partners from across the country for a weekend of programming focused on AI literacy, creativity, and youth voice. Other Festival components include an AI Student Senate held in partnership with AASA, The Superintendents Association and the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, with the AI Student Senate producing a new national AI policy during legislative exercises at the EMK that AASA will then share with its 10,000+ member base; as well as an “AI for a Better World” competition presented by Britebound and developed in collaboration with MIT RAISE and MIT Solve, asking students from across the country to provide innovative, AI-focused solutions to problems in their communities and the broader world.
